The Australian Lawful use of Cannabis Alliance (ALUCA) takes a stance:
The issue of cannabis law reform is closer to home than you think –Whoever
you are, or and whatever you do, whether you are a politician, a journalist, a
teacher, or a housewife … according to the Cancer Council of Australia - you
or someone close to you will develop cancer in your lifetime!!
The issue of cannabis law reform is closer to home than you think –Whoever
you are, or and whatever you do, whether you are a politician, a journalist, a
teacher, or a housewife … according to the Cancer Council of Australia - you
or someone close to you will develop cancer in your lifetime!!
Lets’ get real. The Cancer Council of Australia * says that 1 in 2 men will develop cancer by age 85...Will it be you? Will it be your dad? ONE in TWO … What can you do? And if you are female – you have a 1 in 3 chance of getting cancer in your lifetime ...ONE in THREE ... So look around you … are the odds getting any better? Why are we relying on a system that FAILS us and our loved ones?
A recent poll conducted by Channel Seven (20th June 2014) regarding the medicinal use of cannabis in Australia – returned one of the largest responses to a media poll, almost THREE MILLION Australians voted, and an astounding 96% voted YES to medicinal cannabis!
As a decision maker – will you let your loved ones continue to suffer due to unconscionable laws? The Australian Lawful use of Cannabis Alliance (ALUCA) is a group of professional individuals here in Australia who are adamant that cannabis has productive uses and therapeutic benefits and should be made lawfully available in this country. We know that doing so, will help reduce these appalling statistics. ALUCA is committed to working towards cannabis law reform in Australia, and
laying the groundwork for a vibrant legal cannabis industry in this country. ALUCA is today, releasing its’ Position Paper entitled “Its Time to Allow the Lawful Use of Cannabis in Australia.”

ALUCA spokesperson Michael Hislop (Solicitor) said “The time has come for cannabis to be re-legalised in Australia. The medical and scientific evidence stacks up, and the Australian public support it. Given these facts, it is now time for Australia’s politicians and policy-makers to stop their dance with the truth, and embark on a rational cannabis law reform process. We recognise that this can be a difficult task, in the face of the plethora of misinformation still being propagated by the near century -old institutions of Prohibition.
We hope that our Position Paper will provide an entry-point for those public officials and members of the public who are interested in understanding the facts about cannabis, and exploring the possibilities attendant to a thriving regulated cannabis industry in Australia”
The Key Points of our Position Paper are:
1) Re-legalising cannabis in a comprehensive way has the potential to provide solace and remedy to the sick, bring jobs and enterprise to communities, whilst reducing the burden on public services.
2) The truth about cannabis is that there is a large emerging body of scientific and medical evidence concerning the health benefits and therapeutic effects of consuming cannabis. Cannabis is also an excellent source of proteins, as well as a source of durable natural fibre. On top of all that, cannabis
consumption can be a safe and enjoyable recreational activity.
3) This is exactly opposite to what the law in Australia currently says about cannabis. At present, cannabis is classified only as a dangerous and poisonous substance susceptible to misuse and abuse.
4) The reason, that the law, and science and medicine, are saying different things about cannabis, is because prohibition of cannabis did not the result from a rational policy-making process. There was no new scientific discovery or medical understanding that informed it. Instead of being based on “Fact”, the prohibition of cannabis was founded on and propagated by “Fear”.
5) The Australian community expects laws in this country to be made according to a rational process, so that they reflect “Fact” not “Fear”.
6) One simple premise should inform our legal understanding of cannabis, that is: Cannabis is a multiuse plant that is best characterised and provided for in law according to its use.
7) When this is understood, it becomes clear that Australia doesn’t need piecemeal legislation at the Commonwealth/State/Territory levels that only address one aspect of the cannabis issue in Australia. What is truly needed in Australia is a comprehensive and nuanced legal regime that addresses and accommodates all its uses and intended uses in the community, including: medical, industrial, domestic and recreational.
8) If such a comprehensive and nuanced legal regime can be quickly achieved in Australia, Australia has a
real opportunity to position itself as a world leader in the emerging cannabis marketplace.

I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
ReplyDeleteliver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
